Captain Mike is a licensed USCG Captain who has been avidly fishing the Barnegat Bay and surrounding ocean for over 20 years. He is a Master Captain who holds a U.S. Coast Guard Master’s 100 Ton license with Towing Endorsement. His fishing experience stems from 15 years of working on Party boats, Charter boats, and commercial fishing vessels out of Barnegat Light, New Jersey.

Captain Mike is an accomplished saltwater angler who has a deep passion for striped bass and fluke fishing. He enjoys nothing more than catching trophy striped bass and doormat fluke. He also holds a passion for pelagic fishing in offshore waters when time and weather allow.

In addition to working as a professional fishing guide and spending his time on the water, Captain Mike spends the rest of his time flying above the water in a helicopter, working for the Ocean County Mosquito Extermination Commission. He tries his best to make sure there are no bugs while you are fishing. He is also a very active firefighter and member of the Waretown Volunteer Fire Company and holds the elected position of Treasurer for the department.
